StormRing Pipe Mounted Screening Devices

The StormRing product line by Fabco Industries consists of pipe mounted screening devices that feature an expanding ring that securely attaches inside the outlet pipe opening. This allows for easy installation and maintenance without requiring any power tools or drilling into existing structures.

The StormRing line includes four different products:

    • Expanding StormRing Connector Pipe Screen (CPS)
    • Expanding StormRing Flow Control
    • Expanding StormRing Micro Diversion Weir
    • Expanding StormRing Inlet Flow Limiter

All StormRing devices have a simple 3-step installation by expanding the ring into the pipe, attaching the backplate, and securing the front cover.

Expanding StormRing Connector Pipe Screen (CPS)

  • A full capture device for trapping trash and debris inside the catch basin
  • Allows filtered stormwater to exit into storm drain infrastructure
  • Available in 6″, 8″, 12″, 15″ and 18″ sizes
  • Made of aluminum or 304 stainless steel with 5mm slotted filter screen
  • 51% open area on screen
  • Filtered flow rate varies based on size

Expanding StormRing Flow Control

  • Filters debris while limiting maximum flow into the outlet pipe
  • Perforated screen filters debris
  • Flow control orifice on backplate constricts water flow rate
  • Available in 6″, 8″, 12″, 15″ and 18″ sizes
  • Aluminum or stainless steel construction
  • Filtered flow rate based on size and orifice diameter

Expanding StormRing Micro Diversion Weir

  • Diverts water bypass flow outside of the outlet pipe
  • Restricts stormwater flow into outlet to allow standing water to develop
  • Bypass height determined by project needs
  • 6″, 8″, 12″, 15″ and 18″ size options
  • Aluminum or stainless steel material

Expanding StormRing Inlet Flow Limiter

  • Controls flow out from an existing inlet pipe
  • Flow control orifice restricts to maximum required flow rate
  • Open bypass allows higher flows to pass over
  • Available for 6″ to 18″ pipe sizes
  • Aluminum or stainless steel construction
