The Terramesh® System

  • Modular solution designed for constructing gabion-faced Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) walls.
  • Units consist of a back panel and diaphragms connected to the main fascia unit.
  • Units form rectangular cells for stone containment.
  • The geogrid reinforcement, fascia, and lid are integrated into a single continuous mesh panel.
  • Terramesh® System units come in standard lengths, eliminating the need for on-site cutting.
  • Once assembled on-site, the fascia unit is filled with suitable gabion stone, then placed and compaction of structural backfill over the soil reinforcement geogrids.

Green Terramesh®

  • Eco-friendly modular system.
  • Designed for creating vegetated (green) faced soil reinforced slopes (RSS) and embankments.
  • Used in major infrastructure projects worldwide.
  • It is made up of pre-fabricated units made of double-twisted wire mesh lined with an erosion control blanket and reinforced with a welded mesh panel.
  • Two pre-formed steel braces are connected on-site to maintain the unit at the required slope angle.
  • The sloped front face and erosion control blanket are specifically designed to support the natural growth of vegetation on the units.
  • Quicker installation process compared to competing reinforced soil systems.
  • Assembled on-site.
  • Bracing angles supporting the face at the designated angle.
  • Structural backfill is then added over the soil reinforcement geogrids.
  • Suitable fill material is placed immediately behind the front face.

Mineral Terramesh®

The Mineral Terramesh® units do not need any form of external framework due to the heavily galvanized welded mesh panels and bracing struts which hold the face at the correct angle during construction.
